Snow Day!

Enough of the snow already! There's a reason we live in the South. Well, besides being born here and never moving away. It's called we-like-our-weather-like-we-like-our-biscuits: warm. The white stuff is pretty and all, but after an hour of playing in it, the novelty wears off. Unfortunately, it doesn't go away that quickly. There was no school for the girls today and there will be no school tomorrow either, due to the roads icing up and all. I have a fleeting suspicion that at best on Wednesday there will be a delayed start. (And did I mention that Thursday has been scheduled as a half-day since the beginning of the school year, as is the case for there being no school on Friday and Monday? This is like a bonus Christmas break, I tell ya! Only we're stuck in the house, and I haven't been to the grocery store in a week.) Oh, well. At least we have some fun pics of the girls wading through five inches of snow and "sledding" with the neighbors!
